Jam Factory Development Penthouse Apartment in Bermondsey, London

Located in the Jam Factory, one of the most outstanding industrial conversions, the building originally dates from 1902 when it was constructed as a factory for Sir William Hartley’ jam-making company.

Our design started from scratch with shell and core open space. The client’s brief is to have blight, minimal space and cost efficiency.

Our design response is maximising the sense of openness to create flexible space with efficient circulation, as well as maintaining privacy. Utilising the glass blocks to comply fire regulation and to allow natural light to flood throughout the space.
